The stand is easy to assembly and looks great. It has fully adjustable components and is easy to store. Compared it with lower priced stands and it is definitely worth the dollars. Great with the G27 system.

This is a fantastic stand. If you have limited space and either want a serious racing rig that you can easily put away, or if you don't have room for a full cockpit and racing seat, this is a great solution.

I have a Logitech G25 Racing Wheel retrofitted with a Momo TRK35BK0R Trek Red 350 mm Leather Steering Wheel set up on it and have been using it with Dirt 2, Gran Turismo... Read more

5.0 out of 5 stars Very good product, outstanding customer support, March 30, 2011

I've owned this stand for about a month, using it to mount my T500 wheel and ECCI pedals, and I'm very happy with it so far.

Pros:
-Clever design. Lots of adjustments and very stable
-Build quality is excellent
-Very nice mounting hardware (even has a pre-drilled plate which allows you to hard-mount your wheel to the top platform)
-Great customer service

Cons:
-Not cheap
-No shifter mount available

So this product is very good, but not perfect (I would say 4 stars) I gave it 5 stars because of the customer support. I had a small issue with a piece of the hardware and the seller sent me replacement parts the very same day I reported the problem. Woodhaven's customer support have been outstanding throughout and I would not hesitate to order from them again.

4.0 out of 5 stars Experience Depends on the Game... Wheel is Great Though, July 11, 2008

This review is from: Logitech PlayStation 3 Driving Force GT Racing Wheel (Video Game)
Customer review from the Amazon Vine™ Program ( What's this?)
Summary [8.5 out of 10]
====================================

The Logitech Driving Force GT PS3 Wheel is an excellent driving wheel with a good build quality at a solid price point that will satisfy any casual or avid racer. Unfortunately not every game makes correct or full use of driving wheels, but the ones that do (e.g. Gran Turismo 5) create a surreal driving experience that will satisfy any driving fan.

For the purist that must reproduce the true racing experience in his or her house, we would still suggest the Logitech G25; it is, however, more than twice the price of the Driving Force GT.

What's in the Box?
====================================

It's a good sized box, about the size of a Logitech 2.1 PC speaker package. As shown on the box there was an instruction booklet, pedals and wheel (with integrated shifter).

What I was really surprised to find in the box, and it might have been a toss-in for some... Read more

4.0 out of 5 stars A Great Addition for GT5 P, April 30, 2008

I purchased GT5 Prologue and played for 2 days using the Dual Shock controller, while the game was fun, I was having trouble running well on several tracks. Over the weekend, I went to a local store which had GTP5 and the racing wheel setup as a display. After sitting down and using the wheel for about 10 minutes, I knew it was a must have. The wheel itself feels well made of durable products, the rubber on the wheel makes it very comfortable. It also has reduced my times in the races where I have used the wheel. The setup was easy and control layout is easy learn. Some reviews I have seen discount the wheel because it does not have a clutch or shifter with actual gears set out. But with the $100 I saved, I am willing to live without theses features.
There are a few downsides, I was hoping for a wireless wheel, but it connects to the PS3 with a USB cable. However, the cable is a good length and allows you plenty of space to move across a room. Also, you have to plug... Read more

I have played the GT franchise games since GT2 on PS1. Needless to say, I have plenty of race time behind the "wheel of the iconic Dual Shock series of controllers. With that in mind, I can never go back to those days after experiencing the Driving Force GT.

The build quality is very solid, as is expected with logitech products in general, and feels very good in your hands. It has a good amount of weight to not feel cheap, but is not heavy to the point of inconvenience. The size of the wheel is smaller than an actual steering wheel, but is of comfortable proportions for long racing sessions.

The control layout is very simple, and translates well from the standard controller scheme. Navigating menus requires zero adjustment time. The real time adjustment knob is promising, and will no doubt be a great tool for the full version of GT5.

The pedals are well built, and are on a solid base, which is an appropriate size and weight to be stable... Read more

Customer review from the Amazon Vine™ Program ( What's this?)
I had the privilege of owning its predecessor several years ago, the G25, so I knew mostly what to expect with this new G27, but I was still expecting so much more from Logitech. The expression "Logitech giveth and Logitech taketh away" seems most pertinent.

So, let's start:

Opening the box and getting everything out is very simple. All the parts are well designed, but you're immediately greeted with what I think is the biggest issue with the G25/27 set, - the cables. So many cables! 400 cables! (at least it feels like it)

The wheel has a cable coming out of it that goes into your PS3; the pedals have a cable coming out of it; the shifter has a cable coming out of it, and then there's the power brick that has a cable to be plugged in. All these cables plug into the wheel itself, and it's definitely not a pretty sight. I don't know about other people, but I don't have a place where I can leave my steering wheel/shifter/pedals plugged in 24/7, so... Read more

4.0 out of 5 stars G27 on PS3, January 16, 2010
By

This review is from: Logitech G27 Racing Wheel (Personal Computers)
Extremely well made, I bought both G27 and the GT wheel for comparison. At first I wasn't sure whether the $200 difference is worth it, until I tried both out. Played F1 championship, GT5 prologue, GT5 demo and Dirt 2. If you can foot the bill, G27 is hands down better. Better construction and quality (GT wheel has plastic pedals, G27 has metal paddle and pedals), feels more solid and the force feed back feels accurate and keen.
Another example of this being a well designed product is, on other wheels I've tried, the foot pedals are spring loaded with the same resistance. G27 however has different spring rate on the throttle and brake, which makes it extremely realistic. I'm not sure if that was software or hardware controlled but I like it.
There are problems with this wheel, it isn't fully supported by all the racing games in PS3.

For example, paddle shifting in GT5 prologue doesn't work (although GT5 HD when it comes out will work, GT5 demo works) so... Read more

5.0 out of 5 stars G27, October 15, 2009
This review is from: Logitech G27 Racing Wheel (Personal Computers)
Pros: Well built. Leather wheel feels much better than plastic. Clutch, break, gas all have different push pressure. Feedback force feels great. I just hope the motor won't give up on me any time soon!
Paddle shifters made out of metal and when shifting they feel very durable and firm.
Installation was a breeze.

Cons: The leather is no BMW quality! However, as mentioned before, it's much better than plastic wheel.
The screws that attach the wheel and shift stick to the table are made of plastic and give impression if you screw them too hard they'll crack. But so far so good.
Lots of cables. But I just taped them together and it's now manageable.
Have no horn button?.. :)

I don't have much to say about manual shift stick. It feels alright but I don't use it in any games( takes longer to shift), only paddle shifters.
I've never tried g25, so I can't compare them but judging from the pictures, extra... Read more
